Tiny Tower

Cambridge, MA

Tiny Tower was built to provide a space for kids to visually explore their favorites aspects of the natural environment. This project creates a safe space for kids to be visually isolated to their surroundings by only providing a view of the sky above, while still allowing for supervision. As an architectural object, Tiny Tower seeks to blend in with its mid-century neighbor, Eero Saarinen’s MIT Chapel. After the event, it served as tool for teaching high school students about small scale construction.

Collaboration with Xhulio Binjaku, Noora Aljabi, Shep Hasley, Gabrielle Heffernan, Catherine Lie, Paul Mayencourt, and Yue Qiu.
